The Commissioner for Finance in Borno State, Ahmed Ali Ahmed is dead.

According to report he was found dead in his room.

The commissioner’s dead body was found after his door was forcefully opened on Monday morning.

The deceased was discovered dead after he failed to emerge at his usual morning time, prompting concerns. “Oga is no more, he died early this morning,” the source told the newspaper.

Borno State Government has announced the passing of Ahmed Ali Ahmed, the State Commissioner of Finance. According to a statement by Professor Usman Tar, Commissioner of Information and Internal Security, the burial will take place today at 5:00 p.m. at the late commissioner’s family residence on Damboa Road, behind Indimi’s house, in Maiduguri.
