Doyin Okupe, Am Qualified To Be Nigeria President Come 2023, No Difference Between APC And PDP.

Former SSA on Public Affairs to Ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Dr Doyin Okupe, today on AriseTv Morning Show, said that, there is no difference between PDP and APC citing that 70% of politicians in APC migrated from PDP.

On the crisis bedeviling the two political parties, he said that is a Systemic failure in which party politics have decapitated the polity. He stressed that instead of being leadership based is now officialdom. Abnormalities is order of the day where people are not elected properly.
Okupe cited examples of people who came from overseas to run for political office as governor, won and automatically became the one in charge of a political party he knew nothing about. Says Abuja decides who runs for office with persons superimposed to all.

Claimed all the crisis is just a race for 2023 elections. So people are jostling to put there own persons in authority so as to be able to control them. In his words Doyin said ‘is personality clash of Egos among politicians.

Dr Okupe said the PDP as opposition party should focus on issue affecting the country but what we see is no substance and very abysmally, In a country poor people go to bed in empty stomach with no good health care. He said the two notable parties have failed to address core national issues like restructuring etc.
Doyin said he was just an image projector or working on the political image for the Party PDP and have no political role to the party.

On whether a 3rd force can take the power from the two known parties, he said it cannot work saying we have to work with the parties we have, saying Nigerians needs to go back to basis because people won’t vote unless you give them money.

Also the poor mindset of the elites who comes from the various communities must change.
Dr Doyin said Nigeria needs a president who will heal, reunite Nigerians, a person with Fear of God, Humane enough to think of the people welfare.

There must be inclusive leadership because 90% of Nigerians do not benefit anything from the government saying that the various projects, benefits only the Presidency and the legislators and not poor Nigerians or civil servants.
Okupe said the next President must come from the South because the North have used up their own 8 years and does not make sense for them to run again.

He now said that in terms of what he has gone through, He is much qualified to be the next President of Nigeria. Saying that he knows every part of Nigeria and have visited some local government areas 5times and that he is very prepared for the job.

If the east should have a short, he said former governor of Anambra Peter Obi is moat qualified to be Nigeria president come 2023.

In conclusion, he said any region that will rule must have concession from another region but in terms of rerun, majority carries the vote. Doyin the master of Nigeria politics said Nigeria not mature to base their politics on people who are educated and experienced.
