PRESS STATEMENT BY LABOUR PARTY LAGOS STATE.

The leadership and the entire members of Labour party Lagos state under the chairmanship of Dr,(Pst) Mrs. Dayo Ekong received with joy, happiness and satisfaction the news of the ruling of the court of Appeal Abuja presided by Honourable Justice Hamma Akawu Barka today,17th January 2025, wherein the court reaffirmed Dr. Barr. Julius Abure as the national chairman of our great party, the Labour party.

To us, this is a reconfirmation that our judiciary is still the last hope of the oppressed, vilified, persecuted and voiceless citizens of the society. We sincerely commend the resilience of the court in upholding the truth without bias.It further shows that all hope is not lost in our dear nation Nigeria.

We equally congratulate the indefatigable national chairman of our party, Barr Julius Abure,the NWC and the entire membership of the fastest growing political party in Nigeria at the moment (Labour party).This is a victory not just for Barr Julius Abure but for democracy in our dear country Nigeria . It should also be an adminision to everyone that “you cannot fight and win a battle with someone who is under God’s announting and also who comes with a clean hands”

We therefore urge everyone both winners and losers who are desirous of building a new Nigeria for good governance to join forces with Barrr Julius Abure and the National working Committee of labour party to build a vibrant and strong political party towards retrieving power from the ruling party and birthing the new Nigeria of our collective dreams.
